'I Lost My Way' β Diddy Pleads for Leniency Before Sentencing
As part of a recent court submission, his lawyers for rapper and producer Diddy revealed they intend to display a video montage illustrating his life at the sentencing hearing.
The video features multiple segments of Combs working with young people and involved with charitable activities.
As per reports, the attorneys are set to display a montage that was seen before the sentencing.
This presentation features scenes of the artist spending time with his kids throughout his life, as well as scenes of him conducting community service in New York City. Sentimental audio plays during the video.
One segment, Combs is heard saying,
"We aim to raise funds for the kids of NYC for education and health."
It further shows him giving life advice to young learners and running in a charity run. A voiceover features witnesses explaining how committed he is to fundraising for the youth. He remarks,
"My plan with my future is to ensure I can make change."
Additionally, the footage shows footage of Combs going to the funeral of his late partner his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. He is seen crying and thinking back about their life together, adding the strength of their affection for each other.
While the presentation portrays a uplifting image of the defendant, the judge also has letters from affected individuals of his offenses, which present a stark opposing view. Further details from these documents are expected to come to light soon.
